Our Story

My story begins on chilly nights near Seattle during the holiday season in 1999. I can still hear the Christmas music in the background, as my mom and I bake dozen after dozen of our favorite cookie recipes. Dad comes into the kitchen to steal a finger-full of frosting. These are the memories I will never forget.

Growing up, my grandparents were also a huge part of my life. I remember begging my grandma to spend each afternoon in the kitchen, teaching me HER grandma’s recipes.

I gained confidence in baking because I got to try such a wide variety of family recipes. After years of baking with family, from a child into a young adult, I learned that baking is best described as a science. Understanding the science, and applying my creative side to the design, allows me to create delicious and unique treats.

Fast forward— I graduate college and start working corporate jobs. “Somehow,” in each job I end up joining the event committee, where I made cakes and cookies to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. After years of this, I was starting to get asked when I’m going to open my own bakery. In 2022 I finally took the leap!

A year later and I’m consistently fulfilling orders each month, doing pop-up events, and launching my first website. I’m so excited to keep growing my dream!

Thank you to my parents for encouraging creativity; my grandparents, who are no longer with us, for giving me wonderful memories in their kitchen; and to my husband for pushing me to take risks.

Lastly, thanks to each and every customer for allowing me to be creative and bake for you. You allow me to live my dream!
